IronEval is a free collection of strength and fitness calculators built for people who train: lifters, powerlifters, and anyone following a structured program who wants honest numbers without the noise.
The site exists because most fitness calculators online share the same problems — they hide their formulas, bury results under popups, or demand an email address before showing a number. IronEval takes the opposite approach on every count:
- Every formula is named and shown. Each calculator explains exactly which equations it uses — Epley and Brzycki for 1RM, Mifflin-St Jeor for calories, the U.S. Navy method for body fat, official DOTS and Wilks coefficients for powerlifting scores — so you can verify the math yourself.
- Everything runs in your browser. Your inputs are processed locally on your device and never sent to a server. There are no accounts, and nothing to install.
- Every tool is free, supported by advertising, with no premium tier holding features hostage.
What you'll find here
The current toolset covers the numbers a lifter actually uses: a one rep max calculator with training percentages and plate loading, strength standards to benchmark your lifts, a TDEE calculator for calories, a protein intake calculator, a body fat calculator, and a DOTS & Wilks calculator for powerlifters. More tools are added over time.
A note on advice
IronEval provides educational information and mathematical estimates, not medical, nutritional or training advice. The formulas used are well-established, but every body is different — consult a qualified professional before making significant changes to your training or diet, particularly if you have any health condition.
